years, Richard said, "It's awesome.  Thank God.  It is truly an awesome, and at the same time humbling, feeling to know I created something that people genuinely like."  When asked what is next for Wilkes Wings Sauces, without hestitation Richard said, "First place.  Actually, we are headed to Knoxville, TN, in June [2015] to compete in the 3rd Annual Big Kahuna Wing Festival.  If I can place in the top three or even win first place at that festival, then that will help me to continue to build the Wilkes Wings brand across the state of Tennessee."

As a Pick Tennessee product, Wilkes Wings Sauces - Sweet Heat, Whiskey, and Lemon Butter Pepper - are slowly growing in popularity throughout the state of Tennessee.  They are currently retailed at multiple supermarkets in Memphis.  They are featured at restaurants in Stanton and Nashville.  The Wilkes Wings brand is also one of the subscription items used by Batch who currently has operations in Memphis and Nashville.
